Previously, I had been using iron sulphate developer, both commercial and then homemade, with UVP-Z collodion. Just about through my first liter of this concentrate and can honestly say that I love it. Doesn’t seem to oxidize as quickly (I.e. lasts longer) after mixed and dev time is more predictable for a longer time. Seems to make cleaner, brighter plates, but have not yet made a definitive comparison. I bought my first liter on the recommendation of a friend and very pleasantly surprised at how well it works!
I've been using only this for years, it works the same every time I use it. I'm grateful to have access to such a consistent product.
This developer gives me the best density, thus whiter whites. Must have for glass negatives. It’s been a consistent developing time every time.
Awesome universal developer for positives and negatives. I look nowhere else for developer
I'm new at this but it seems to make highlights brighter. I have used it for portraits with studio lighting and landscapes. I love the results!
