These plates are the most popular substrate being used for tintypes today. Otherwise known as trophy aluminum. They are 0.025" thick with a black baked finish protected with a peel away plastic layer.
Cut to your dimensions. Please provide the dimensions of the plate that fits in your plate holder. Plates are cut to a tolerance of +/- 1/16"
Sold by the individual plate to allow for maximum flexibility

This is the second time I’ve ordered plates from here and they are perfect. And the service is wonderful!
I have never had an issue with UVs plates unlike a few other suppliers. I do not have to prepare them with alcohol or anything before using, which is fantastic and I can order 5 or 500 as needed, which is great. I also did a price comparison with other suppliers that use the same plate material and I have found that with shipping included, these are the same or cheaper than ordering from other suppliers that have the same quality unless you are ordering in huge bulk quantities.
