Our Wet Plate Collodion Starter Kits have all the chemistry you will need to start making plates.  Our chemistry is consistent and easy to use.  We offer choices of collodion, varnish and developer.  Our recommendation is:  UVP-4 Collodion for ease of development and stability, Iron Potassium Nitrate Developer, and Light Shellac Varnish

The kit contains:

9% Silver Bath - pH adjusted & iodized - (500mL Small kit, 1000mL Large Kit)

Premixed Collodion of your choice - (225mL Small kit, 450mL Large Kit) 

Developer your choice- (500mL Small kit, 1000mL Large Kit)

Rapid Fixer - (500mL Small kit, 1000mL Large Kit)

Varnish of your choice-  (240mL Small kit, 480mL Large Kit)

3 - Erlenmeyer Flasks with stoppers (1 for pouring collodion, 2 for varnishing)

1 - Small Beaker - For developer

    Besides the excellent materials and fast shipping. They're super friendly and extremely helpful. For anyone getting into Wet Plate photography, Highly recommend UV Photographics.

    Great kit really everything you need to get going. I can always rely on UVPhotographics to get me my kit so quickly. I'm liking the light shellac lavender varnish is so easy to work with making the varnishing plates less scary.
